AG-Choice: Whitehall Road, Andover:From Route 206 in Andover, just 3 miles on 517 south, and along the way to LL PITTENGER FARM! Ag- Choice is an agricultural composting facility: See how they make their certified organic compost. Machine demos, in which the special compost turning equipment is set into action, will occur at 12, 2 and 4pm. These 20 minute demos and information sessions are Free to tour ticket holders. The first in NJ, using horse manure and pre-consumer food scrapes from the local supermarket and restaurant industry, Ag-choice creates a true living compost!

Little BIg Farm: Cut flowers, extraordinary bouquets! All naturally-grown flowers - no chemicals used on these fine blooms! Find them at the Blairstown Area Farmers' Market, Route 521 just South of Route 94 in Blairstown, at the Givens- Belet Hall. Patti will offer something special for our ticket holders. Her strong advocacy for local foods was responsible for the formation of the market! Patti is the farmer representative for the market, working with the Foodshed Alliance to organize, promote and ensure the market's continued success!
The Blairstown Farmers' Market is a Foodshed Alliance-run market, featuring many BFBL farmers and, of course, our business partner Little Big Farm. Stop in during the tour- market hours are 10am-2pm- and visit with BFBL Affiliate Farmers Kimball's Farm and U-Pick and Flower Creek Farms. These all-natural- no chemicals EVER- growers are at the market each week!
