Select Programs
Buy Local Campaign - A collaborative effort among farmers, community members, and agriculture professionals to give agriculture and locally grown food a larger and more meaningful presence in the public’s eye – first on a local level in Warren and Sussex Counties and then throughout northwest New Jersey.

Market Development - Connect farmers with the public through farmers’ markets, buyers’ clubs, the WIC Farmers’ Market Nutritional Program, restaurants, and other strategies for farmers to sell directly to consumers thereby maximizing their profit.

Farm-to-School - A cooperative effort with local schools to connect students, parents, and teachers with the rich agricultural heritage that still exists in Warren and Sussex Counties through hands-on classroom presentations, farm visits, and community meetings.
Farm-to-Chef - Continue developing this cooperative effort with NOFA-NJ that brings together local farmers and local restaurants, offering farmers another way to sell direct and providing restaurants with fresh, local produce. This project ties in with our BUY FRESH BUY LOCAL campaign when we promote the chefs who use local foods.
