Business Description: River Bend Farm, in Peapack NJ offers All Natural Pastured Raised Angus Beef, All Natural Berkshire Pork, All Natural Pastured Heritage Turkeys. The 60 cows give birth in the spring or fall, after which the calves will spend the next 18 - 20 months rotationally grazing our lush grass and clover pastures. They are never confined to the feedlot. They receive a small amount of grain while out on pasture to achieve the desirable amount of marbling and tenderness, and in the winter we supplement our own home-grown grass baleage. Our animals are raised humanely, without antibiotics or hormones.
Our Heritage Turkeys are raised in a "Turkey Tractor" type coop that is moved to fresh grass every day.
Please email River Bend Farm to be added to our email list. Subscribers will receive an order form quarterly, at which time a pickup day will be scheduled. We do not have a retail store.
